About one-third (32.9%) of the newly elected members are of Chinese descent! This year, a total of 319 scholars were elected, with approximately 105 Chinese scientists, roughly the same as last year. Among them, 45 are employed in China. IEEE Fellow is the highest honor bestowed upon a member by IEEE and is awarded annually by peer experts to members who have made outstanding contributions, with the number of inductees not exceeding 0.1% of the total IEEE membership.
